カエルの気持ち
薬屋の店先で、カエルが冷遇されていました。
な、なんか悲しい……。
ところでカエルといえば、思い出すのはナッティン・ナイスの「Froggy Style」という曲です。
パーラメントの「Aqua Boogie」をサンプリングしたヘヴィー・ファンクR&B（なんだそりゃ）。たしかデビュー・シングル。
「Aqua Boogie」、アイス・キューブもサンプルしてましたよね。
タイトルどおりの非常に下品な曲なのですが、ヴィデオ・クリップのダンスもかっこよかった。
だけどセカンドの「In My Nature」はちょっと話題になった気がするけど、こっちはいまひとつだったんだよなー。いい曲なのに。
大好きだったんでクラブでもよくかけてたんだけど、ちっともウケなかったしな。
アルバムもよかったんだけど、こっちもあんまりウケてなかったみたいだしな。
でも、このジャケじゃあ仕方ないという気もするな。
とはいえ内容は保証つきなんで、しかも中古屋だと200円ぐらいでゴロゴロしてるんで、見つけたらぜひ聴いてみてください。
ところでカエルといえば、吉祥寺に専門店があるんですぜ。
