隠れ名盤
『ファンタスティック・マック』『噂』に次ぐフリートウッド・マックのアルバム『タスク』については、地味なだけに失敗作との評価もあるみたいです。
が、僕はその意見に真正面から反論したい。
いや、斜めからでも後ろからでもいいんだけど、とにかく反論したい。
だってこれ、すごくいいアルバムなんですよ。
たしかに『噂』ほど華やかではないかもしれないけど、曲のよさは負けず劣らず。
いい曲がたくさんはいってます。
5曲目という目立たない位置に収まってるけど、スティーヴィー・ニックスがヴォーカルをとる「サラ」なんか名曲ですぜ！
というわけで、機会をみつけてぜひ一度聴いていただきたいアルバムです。
